SkipToDate combines online filtering with structured in-person dating events. Here is the full journey from joining a community to dating outside the app.

Join a community
Sign up for a local SkipToDate community where hosted dating events take place.

Build your profile
Add photos and details about yourself. An optional AI interview can help with your written introduction.

Set your filters
Choose who you want to see based on the criteria that matter to you.

Browse compatible members
See every active member in your community who fits your filters. Likes stay private.

Create Potential Matches
When two people choose each other, they become Potential Matches—still with no in-app chat.

Mark events you could attend
Indicate which upcoming events you might be available for and set how many people you want to meet.

Commit when enough Potential Matches commit
SkipToDate asks you to commit only when enough of your Potential Matches may attend the event.

Meet face-to-face
At the venue, have short one-on-one conversations with people you already chose online.

Submit final choices
After each conversation, give a private Yes or No. Revise until midnight.

Receive zero or one Match
The next morning, learn whether you have one Match from the event—at most one per person.

Date outside the app
Exchange contact details and date normally. There is no chat inside SkipToDate.

Return only if that connection ends
While matched, browsing and new events pause. End the match to rejoin the community.
